About Us
Group meetings are held on the first Wednesday of every month (except for January) , at St Margaret's Academy, Howden Road South, Livingston, EH54 6AT (for map, click here)
Meetings are free to attend and are open to all.
Our meetings are relaxed and informal, a time for you to slow down and relax, have a chat over a cup of tea, listen to our interesting guest speakers and take part in (or just listen to) discussions about the real issues affecting people with diabetes.
We also offer the opportunity to benefit from our Swim & Gym club which meets every Sunday. For a small donation you can enjoy a Sunday afternoon swim in the pool or do a mile or two on the treadmill at St Margaret's Academy.
We have recently started a walking group. So far walks have been short and fairly local.
We provide an information table at St John's Hospital Diabetic Clinic on the second Thursday of every month.
The group is run by a committee of volunteers who are keen to hear ideas of how the group can be developed and improved
For more information about the group, please visit the Contact Us page and email your request.
